I've worked on a variety of different projects/assignments, specifically from my undergraduate classes, masters program, organizations, internship, and from the Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP).
My 2021 Goals
These are the goals I set up for myself during my summer internship and MAIP involvement in 2021.
Get a better understanding of what all the roles in the team entail
How I met my goal:
During my time at Wondersauce as a Project Manager, I attended informational presentations on strategy, web development, UX design, and creative. Each presenter went over their role, what they liked about it, challenges, etc. This gave me a better understanding on the types of deliverables they would be presenting during the project process.
Expand on my networking skills
How I met my goal:
Throughout my internship and the MAIP program, I made sure to connect with any new person that I met. As well as following pages and people that I felt connected with me, such as the "Latina Professionals."
Know the role of producer/director throughout the project process
How I met my goal:
At Wondersauce, I got to work with two client teams working on two different projects. One project was brand strategy for an returning client, and the other project was web design for the launch of a new brand. So I got to learn the role of the producers/director at different stages, and how they work - whether they have weekly check-ins or how they communicate with the client and team, depending on the deliverables.
